For the past 17 years Flora Pessanha has been working with the largest organizations in Brazil and worldwide connecting them through innovation, marketing, businesses and learning experiences.

Raised between the US and Peru, Desiree Tavera has spent years working in nonprofits, tech public policy advocacy, disaster relief and for over a decade she was also executive producer of events and art experiences focus on sustainability, such as Burning Man and Miami Art Basel. She worked for tech giants such as Hotels.com, HotelPlanner.com, Airbnb and went on to deploy her skill-sets in response to 2 relief tours in Haiti, 1 in Nepal, the Refugee crisis in Greece, & 1 in Peru. While producing the first humanitarian focused Maker Faire in Kathmandu.
Desiree founded Far Away Projects in 2015 and crafted a successful model of accelerating early stage activists and organisations from all over the world through the incubator model at Far Away. Since then she became a reference in Corporate Social Responsibility and has been working with some of the most relevant investors globally.
